Meet Lindsey Lee!

Meet Lindsey Lee, the new Pleasantville Honors College Senior Thesis Advisor. Lindsey graduated from the Honors College on the Pace NYC campus in 2006 and began working there as an adjunct professor in 2008 before signing on to be a full-time Honors thesis advisor in 2015. Her goal is to make the thesis process seem less daunting and to help students have even fun while writing it (it’s possible, she promises!). She has helped over 600 students with their projects and loves to watch Honors students’ develop “teeny tiny ideas” into final products which are representative of their individual strengths and passions.

Lindsey’s hope for her students is for us to understand and remember that she cares about us as people, not just students.

Lindsey’s Cat Lucky

Education is important, but our mental and physical health should be the first priority. “Life is not about work,” she says, “life is about other things… The constant pressure to be successful is just exhausting, and that’s not what life’s about!”

Lindsey’s Cat Niko

Outside of her work at Pace, Lindsey is a new mom to two cats named Niko (age 5) and Lucky (age 12), of whom she shares pictures to the Discord she has set up for her classes. They have been keeping her busy and have even learned how to open (but unfortunately, not close) her freezer!

She knows the Honors College at Pleasantville has undergone some changes recently and is excited to be able to offer some additional support as upperclassmen begin the thesis process. Lindsey is really looking forward to meeting and getting to know everyone on the Pleasantville campus!
