The Fall 2021 events calendar has been released with fun in person and off campus events for Honors College students.
The past three semesters have been short of normal- with the introduction of online events and Hyflex opportunities. This semester has shown the return of normalcy all across campuses, from the return of tables in Kessel’s dining halls to the removal of arrows that once covered the entire campus.
In the strive towards normalcy, this semester, the Honors College has released the Fall 2021 calendar, which includes in person events and ones that allow you to venture off campus with your fellow Honors College students. Back are the days of Broadway shows and Yankees games!
As always, Cookies and Conversation will be every Wednesday during common hour, and this year it is back in person at the Honors Lounge in Kessel. Make sure to stop by and say hello to the Honors College Staff and peers- and don’t forget to grab a cookie!
The month of September starts off with a bang with the Welcome Back/Meet your Mentor Ice Cream Social on September 14, and on September 18, the Yankee game vs the Cleveland Indians at the Yankee Stadium.
There will also be a movie/game night in the Alumni Hall Honors Lounge on September 21. The movie title will be released closer to the event. September is then wrapped up with apple picking at Wilkens Farms on September 25.
When taking a peek at the October calendar, there is a Broadway show planned and the Pumpkin Blaze event at the Van Courtlandt Manor. This year’s 5th Annual Retreat will be hosted in Gottesman on Friday October 22.
